A Boo’d Up Halloween

A Boo’d Up Halloween

One thing’s for sure.  Halloween is not my forte and it’s not the holiday where you’ll see me going out of my way or “doing the most.”  I usually save that for Christmas. Lol!

But last year, I attempted making these cute little holiday treats and the only thing that went right was that they were a total nightmare.  LOL!  The white chocolate burned and my take on a healthy alternative for coating (ground oatmeal) was a total disaster.  Ya’ll, the effort didn’t even deserve an A.  Lesson learned!  It just wasn’t meant to be.

Melt Baker’s Dipping chocolate morsels according to directions on package

Before coating has set, dip one (1) toothpick into dipping chocolate and draw eyes and mouth onto covered strawberries (draw size of eyes and mouth to your liking).

For added color and variation, I washed and added the remaining strawberries to the large platter.

Place in refrigerator for fifteen (15) minute to set.

Remove and serve with your favorite dessert wine.

Enjoy!
