I’m Marú, a proud native of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, a lawyer in tech and lover of all things home and interiors. I am a self-proclaimed cupcake connoisseur, coffee and tea lover, who enjoys interior design, home organization and any type of DIY home improvement. For 10 years, I painted and decorated homes (part-time) to help pay for grad and law school. I then closed my business to focus on my legal career. After my father passed away in 2017, I began journaling as a therapeutic practice which ultimately heightened my interest in creative writing and blogging. Years later, I found the courage to launch my lifestyle blog online with consecutive leaps into the digital creator space (Instagram, YouTube and TikTok) sharing my passion for interior decorating and organizing … one room at a time.
With a background in intellectual property and technology, I’m also an advocate for innovators and inventors (of all ages). And so my entrepreneurial spirit lends itself to participating in ongoing opportunities to inspire children to pursue STEM as well as their own entrepreneurial dreams.
