4 years and counting …

Spring is here and it’s my blogaversary season!

Four (4) years ago, I started this blog in the midst of a toxic relationship (on the verge of a breakup).  I am ultimately convinced that at every stage of my life, God used creativity (designing and/or content creating) to distract me from my pain, inspire me to see beyond my situation(s) and save me from myself (e.g. depression, anxiety, self-doubt, etc.).  While being a creative, comes with its challenges (i.e. balancing with obligations, family, career, unexpected circumstances), content creating is my escape, my outlet for inspiration and a way to give back (through my personality, creative interests/skills/talents/passions and zest for life).

I’ve learned that the journey to success and fulfillment will often require plans, changes and sacrifices that not anticipated.  However, by being committed to the goal/dream, seeking our joy unapologetically and pushing through the obstacles, anything is possible.  I am currently working through my fears of taking yet another LEAP OF FAITH, to fully pursue what makes me happy and allows me the freedom to be there for my family.  As many of you know, I recently relocated to Atlanta to help care for my mom – a quick decision that wasn’t finitely planned, but one that was very necessary.  And while starting over isn’t easy, I am walking in faith, knowing that all things will come together.

I navigating this new chapter with gratitude.  I am very grateful for the leap of faith that flourished into an amazing community and tribe.  Thank you for being here with me on the journey.

We are about to celebrate for all season long!
