It seems like just a few months ago, I was sharing my quick apartment balcony makeover in the DMV. The northern bees were aggressively buzzing around that day, testing my upbeat DIY spirit, and attempting to lay out that green turf gave me a run for my money (which I thought was such a great idea until the fall leaves and winter snow arrived). Lol! I really should have lifted the turf when October hit. Nonetheless, with some old revived plants, some new ones and a repurposed bistro table set, my small but dreamy outdoor oasis became a reality! In case you missed it, click here.

Flash forward to 2022, and the scene is set in a new city, down south where the bees are unbothered but the heat is like no other. Lawdamercy! Summer in Atlanta, is off to hot and humid start, and I could really use a soft Potomac River breeze. But I won’t complain because the spacious backyard I am grateful to now have, is the perfect canvas for creating the cozy, conversational outdoor space of my dreams. I wanted to find the right size and scale for our outdoor patio furniture. So, I spent a few days online researching various shapes, textures and colors with tested durability. After a thorough and insightful investigation, I found the perfect set for outdoor living this summer!

This patio set is absolutely gorgeous and oh so comfortable! The woven, black furniture frame and easy-to clean white cushions give a modern, sleek appeal to this patio ensemble. I wanted something minimal and chic for outdoors, and this 4-piece collection checks off all the marks. From the roomy sofa/settee to the two spacious accent chairs, the set yields enough space to accommodate us, plus our regular weekend guests. Additionally, the rectangular, glass-top coffee table extends far enough to hold a tray full of refreshments, with more room to spare for additional items alongside it. An added bonus – the assembly was not too difficult and can be done in a day (or less). A sure 10 out of 10 for me!
