Console Table to Makeup Vanity | Target Studio McGee Collection | Assemble, Install & Organize

Happy Friday eve FLLS Fam!

Have you ever decided to just do it – whether big or small, to just make a dream come true?  Well if you said yes, I’m right with you.  Only this little dream of mine has everything to do with home decor and interior design.  Lol but you probably already knew that.  In this this blog, I am sharing about my dream of having my own makeup vanity.  Yes yes ya’ll!!!! I hope that this next home decor project inspires you.

For this home decor and interior planning assignment, I wanted to utilize minimal space but still create a designated area just for my makeup vanity.  As seen in many owner’s suite bathrooms (we no longer say “master bathroom”), I knew that I didn’t have the dimensions or space to make that happen.  So I simply opted to create this space for prep and pamering in the bedroom, along a vacant wall section between two large windows.  What video ring light?  Hello natural lighting!!!!

Even better, I found the absolute perfect furniture piece in a gray wash that is almost identical to my Restoration Hardware bedroom furniture dupes.  A gorgeous mix of natural tones washed over with gray, the wooden piece I chose was not the vanity I had in mind.  Adorned with woven drawers and drawer pulls accented with a touch of brass/gold, this beautiful unit was everything I didn’t know I needed!
